This Big Data platform required the combination of data mining and data processing technologies. Since this service involved paid access, high security and convenient authorisation options were an essential requirement. While the platform does not allow users to place bets directly, it greatly saves time needed for research, analysis and calculation of success probabilities. The processed data is stored in a dedicated database and can be retrieved for further analysis, comparison, and building custom user strategies or even machine learning models.

The idea behind this platform was to create a powerful instrument to gather necessary information, process it automatically, and output useful data. An interested person would gladly pay for this information because it comes in a ready-to-use form and may result in significant financial profits. Basically, the platform provides the services of business intelligence in the context of sport bets. While the owner chose to monetize this platform as a paid service available for any subscriber, it could be used effectively as a private betting analyst and consultant available only for the owner. We created this complex web platform from scratch and carried out both front-end and back-end development. Our specialists utilized Stripe API to integrate several payment methods into the solution and ensure a convenient subscription process. To maximize the performance, scalability, and security, this web platform is built using a combination of Ruby on Rails, REST API, and other technologies. Angular has proven its numerous advantages as a front-end framework when our team implemented the separate parts of the software for service subscribers and for administrators. The integration of an admin dashboard increased the platform’s functionality and allowed controlling the amount of users, as well as observing their activities and subscription plans.
