We developed a platform for peer-to-peer package delivery with an advanced algorithm that helps couriers to get and deliver several packages in one route and spend less time and fuel. The platform comprises a website, web application, and two native mobile apps for iOS and Android.

Smart P2P & B2B Delivery in One Place

Our team created a cloud-based system that includes a website, one web, and two mobile applications that function using one backend. The idea of the service is to connect people who want to send stuff within their city with people who can deliver it. The platform functions in P2P and B2B sectors and is convenient for all user categories. Couriers can enjoy an algorithm that collects delivery orders from separate individuals in one route and recommends them to couriers allowing them to deliver more packages and earn more money while spending less time and fuel. The system has a geo-location tracking functionality, that ensures the most accurate recommendations.

This product is successfully monetized in two ways – the system charges senders a commission for every delivery and shows relevant ads to the app users.

Technical Implementation

Before we started working our client tried to create it with the help of at least two other teams. We evaluated the quality of the existing code and offered deep refactoring that included bugfix, system optimization, and deleting parts that have no value or use for the product. After we fixed code flaws, we developed an integrated admin panel, API, and other functionalities using our expertise in Python. Also, we wrote business logic for the server-side, and most importantly, our specialists created an algorithm that allows building a convenient route with several deliveries and optimizing time and other resources for couriers. The use of Angular as a web development framework allowed us to create an informative UI that is convenient for both couriers and administrators. The platform handles big amounts of information stored in PostgreSQL databases and generates reports for administrators in Excel format. The integration of cloud solutions ensures fast and safe data processing.
